@izzy.does_things: FINALLY got around to editing the tutorial on my fairy/tattered/goth/emo/alternative/whatever u wanna call it skirt!!!! I somehow got 5 hours of footage down to 38 seconds 🫨 (and I didn’t even record everything) Everything was thrifted besides the black lace trim! (That was from @michaels of course, the most magical place on earth) The black skirt base was 2 pant legs from xxl jeans sewn together with some scraps to make it fit. The “tattered fairy” part was just squares and circles cut from both a leopard print bedsheet and a black silky fabric (got lucky AF with that one at the thrift) I sewed on the hemmed edges and cut the circles into spirals. It was a whole process tbh but SO FUN!!! And I wore it to a fashion show 🥹 I am learning so much with upcycling, I am so happy that I am feeling inspired enough to get these ideas. If you decide to make one, it’ll be so much easier to sew the squares onto a skirt or shorts that fit you and add a waistband. I almost did that, but I enjoy suffering 🥰🖤 Thanks for watching!
