First of all, I am so sorry for your loss🥰🥰. Secondly, our loved one that has passed would not want us to dwell on everything and would want us to live our life to the fullest. Just because we may find happiness in someone else, doesn't mean we will ever forget the person that went before us, and any future partner who knows the story, will and should truly understand. I lost my wife 13 years ago, she was only 48, I've tried a few times since to start again but things just didn't work out, I've realised I'll probably spend the rest of my days alone 😢

I've walked that path, did some dating but didn't find the one. My problem was that my wife and I had been going out from age 15 and she was so right for me. Married happily for 33 years. Rather stay on my own than get it wrong. 27 years single.
