I understand this is your niche and why you’d stick to creating content off the back of the success, but I think when you say “this is what the cool girls are wearing this summer” or “these things will make you cool this autumn” is the reason it kinda comes across the way you’re thinking it does? Also yes you do say things like “going out with friends” etc. which is a good message, but there’s also a lot that follows in your lists and majority of them are trends, like “bandanas” or “paddle” etc. it kinda feeds into the consumerism thing, also some of the things you say like “long sleeve tops” are just very generic everyday items. I don’t know if that makes sense, just a perspective

Your cool girl guides aren’t pushing consumerism but actually inspire me to use my existing wardrobe in a new way, or give new life to something I had considered past its prime. As someone who generally is rather uncool, I LOVE “cool girl” content and feel like it all promotes so much individuality and self expression which the world is SEVERELY LACKING. You are fab 💘
