I agree. America can afford to take care of its citizens’ healthcare. Canada’s universal healthcare system isn’t perfect, but I can’t complain. For example, most recently, when my mother broke her hip, her hip replacement surgery was immediate, and her care in hospital over the next several months was excellent. When my dad had a stroke, his care in hospital was excellent too. All we paid for out-of-pocket was about $8 a day for parking. There’s never fear of ‘the bill’, ‘adequate insurance’ or fear of bankruptcy.

Agree but I don't think the general Michigan populace will not vote for Sayed. They rejected Trump endorsed Hassan because of his name. I can't see enough of Michigan accepting a Muslim. America is just too racist against Muslims right now.

I agree, fellow boomer here im in oregon. oregon is working on having universal healthcare in 2027...and we need younger p.o.c. in government..

I agree with what you say, but the history shows the US is still racist, if you search your history the only reason you do not have universal health care was your white was afraid of the blacks getting it and I believe it still there today!
