Realistically; can you SSH? cd and grep maybe. in most environments you're not going to be doing anything fancy; some jobs will even fire you if you su, sudo, or clear. TLDR; absolute fundamentals unless you are at the top, you'll learn everything else you need as you climb

I swear tho they say know git, and it just means u understand what a branch is, a cimmit is, can di basic merging or rebasing with conflict resolutions and that's about it, In 7 yesrs of work only ONCE i had to even checkout specific commits locally because it wasn't pushed and i lost my progress on a task and that was grueling but literally thats it, for releases u gotta do sometimes cherry picking but that is something u ain't doing anyways if ur new

Just grab an old piece of junk laptop, plug an ethernet chord in to it and turn it into a server for a basic web app with backend logic and minecraft. You'll learn a lot that way.
