I don't think anyone said it's purely arabized like other "Arab" countries but certain aspects due to Islam. 1. arabic is mandatory for prayer and loan words from Arabic are used so its often slightly pushes and praised 2.you can examine weddings etc Arabic attire due to Islam has been held to a higher standard over traditional Somali and names from Arabia are dominant and other traditions from arabia are on the rise while the others die down (as well as Islamic laws which is just old century Arab laws) 3.yes Arabian DNA has long existed in Somali and almost all somalis have a tiny to significant amount but this is also a cause of being close to yemen none the less a lot of somalis claim it and value it over there own Somali dominant DNA as you claim 4. I think underplaying that they joined the Arab league is significant they are now in the same boat as sudan for example African yet partially Arab it's not a Muslim it's an "Arab" league lastly as you said many tribes claim Arab ethnic orgins 5. yes the truth is partially so, and this is a cause of Islam it happened to the rest of north africa and even Iraq and the Levant only a matter of time while Somali culture fades at this rate so for people to point this out I don't blame them I wish they had for my cultures and for many this isn't a bad thing and seen as an improvement due to their commitment to Islam this is left for somalis to decide in the bend but it would be foolish to ignore and deny it completely like some do

The fact we haven’t been arabized is phenomenal. We are the only people near to Arabia that hasn’t been arabized. And I thank my ancestors and fellow country people for that.

I’ve noticed a lot of those who say “Somalis have been arabised” are anti Islam but are just too afraid to say it because the reason is they know when it comes to the Somali nation our religion is the red line, if they aren’t anti Islam and they don’t hate the religion how could they hate a language that allah sent down a book in that exact language to humanity as guidance? it doesn’t make any logical sense to anyone who have true love for Allah and hes messenger (صلى الله عليه وسلم)
