FYI spatial awareness, depth perception and shadows are one of the very first symptoms of Alzheimer’s/dementia. So much so that people often attribute it to normal aging. I beg you to learn more about it via Dementia Friends. They have a short course and other easy resources to read. It will help you understand why people are concerned. i’m BEGGING you to get him checked out. i have autism and adhd, diagnosed, and none of this is normal. please have him seen by a neurologist and tell them about these things that you think are “stupid”. they are insanely concerning as someone who watched and is watching older family member’s memory decline. it’s also really fucked up to call the things someone who you KNOW is neurodivergent, stupid and an idiot
