Ok so what if you didn’t get scholarships, you work full time and then Dad doesn’t help out?

It’s a balance. I wish we could stop shaming people for needing to use loans to get an education. Is it ideal, no? But neither is working away your young adult years. There is no one way or perfect way unless there is generational wealth.

I worked at school, I work two jobs and worked almost everyday in the summer and any break. I applied to many scholarships via different websites. What else is there to do? I need help!!

Scholarships are easy to get for undergraduate; but my problem is finding them for graduate level. I work 3-4 jobs at all times and got my undergraduate fully paid for with FASFA and scholarships, but for graduate level you can barely get anything. All scholarships are pretty much for undergraduate, and no aid is giving to graduate level. What should graduate students do?

I’m working 17 hours and I’m going crazy. Best way to go is CC and then transfer.

You can get scholarships to pay after the fact? I thought you had to secure them first

We saved from when our son was born. He does work and saves money but won’t be needed for school. We also saved investments for him that he does not know about but will be given to him after college. We live below our means but also work hard and are blessed to have good careers

How many hours a week is she working and how much per hour I am not aware of very many college age students who have jobs that pay enough to accumulate $29,000 in one summer. Could you do a more specific breakdown?
