@thekingscabinet: I spent the past year and a half practicing celibacy, meditating daily, detoxing my body, returning to nature and raising awareness on my subconscious programs. None of this was to be impressive, inspiring or better than my peers. It was pain that brought me here. It was the exhaustion of performing a role for someone else’s expectations and comfort. A mindset that I developed in childhood. I studied the philosophies of psychoanalyst Carl Jung to understand my mental state. INDIVIDUATION: the psychological process of integrating the conscious and unconscious mind to achieve wholeness and self-realization. I’ve explored my depths and have embraced my “demons” through shadow work. I’m still doing the work. But, I no longer fear my darkness. I am not perfect.
