wrong. you nvr want your plate against the wall. nvr thats how you smear it. if you stay off the wall an 1/8 to 1/4 and the mudd is thick you can plug it

i try clean up to quick and smudge, u lot make that bit look easy, so best to let it dry a bit then trowel, brush, see u have that exp, thats the trick
