Broke mine in April 2025. It’s August 2026 and it still isn’t perfect by any means but I went on a 3.5 mile hike today and that feels like such an accomplishment!!!

I got my cast off yesterday from fibula spirsl fracture, my doc said its healing great but advised no weight on it. Truth be told i gently test my limits on movement and weight bearing every day, and today i was able to put all my weight on my right leg with little to no pain, should i keep testing limits or head doctors order

maybe everyone has a different experience? I had a Trimalleolar fracture 6 months ago & my scar is pretty ugly but I can walk/run and everything— some sensitivity on the side of my foot but they started me on PT as soon as they can and i exercised my foot and wear compression socks often// I have minimal swelling

I got told no weight to be put on my ankle after surgery for 2 weeks and today I accidentally kind walked like a step on it like I tripped and walked I didn’t like fall and hit my leg it was just like taking a step it didn’t hurt is that ok 😭

I had a fall accident I fell about 14” ft dislocated my left ankle , fractured my tibia and fractured my talus bone. Had an external fixator for 2 months and a cast for 1 month. I have an orthopedic boot at the moment and I’m going to start PT soon. Any advice on how long will it be till I’m able to walk ?

I fractured mine 3 weeks ago, went back to in a boot last week and idk what happened. a few days ago my ankle gradually began to hurt throughout the day and now I'm fully immobile again 😭

I’m only 24 years old broke my ankle on the 15th of August and did my surgery on the 2nd of September 2 plates and 17 screws the fact that I cannot move always on bed kills me every day I don’t wanna lie this is painful and I’m always breaking down I miss my normal life with all my heart😭😭😭💔
