“ Important for office culture.” Aka “We have a lease and want to make it make sense.”

The Full Stop Method :
The ultimate irony of mandatory office days: sitting in distractions all day, only to log back in at home just to finish the work you couldn't get done at your desk.

The whole “office culture” thing is always a lie. It is always about control.

They need to stop trying to force us back to pre-covid, move with the times and let go of those office leases!

culture has changed. if u can do ur job from home. it should be done. saves the company overhead. and boosts employee morale. RTO LOSES EMPLOYEES AND HARD TO FIND REPLACEMENTS.

they want people in office because the middle managers realize how useless they are

My boss and team sit literally in front of me in the office. We are required to be in office 3 days a week. We can all stand up and talk and we do throughout the day. But then we have zoom meetings while in person 🤨 I drive a total of 3 hours a day to spend 8 hours in office and get less done when I’m in office. Let’s not even get started on the cesspool of germs and illnesses

As a boss, I’m disgusted with any boss in these comments who agrees with the manager here. I literally let my staff work remotely when it rains too hard

All this to justify someone's poor judgement for signing a long term lease for office space that was really not needed for the product being produced. 😁😂🤣

Mandatory office day for 'collaboration,' but everyone is wearing noise-canceling headphones and hiding in a cubicle all day just to escape the noise and people to actually get work done..Makes total sense! 🫠

Hey so I am actually significantly less productive in office than I am at home. In office, I have people coming up to me all day with questions or wanting to talk. At home, I live alone and they message me on teams if it’s urgent and I get to it when I can. My productivity goes down 65% when I’m in office. My direct manager works from a different state and the officer I work under lives 45 min from the office but refuses to come in person but insists I come in person

Return to office is so dumb. Literally wasted 4 hrs of peoples days not doing any work. 1hr to get ready, 1 hr to drive there, 1 hr to take lunch to get the hell out of the office, 1 hr driving home. Then if you have pets paying for someone to take them out. Just idiotic
