It seems like shes already been fighting for the friendship, her friend isn’t. Unfortunately her friend’s reaction is not in her control and if her friend isn’t fighting for it after multiple attempts it’s not worth fighting for anymore. It goes beyond the initial issue now. I would find a way to find peace / resolve within myself and move on.
