I be triple counting, making sure I have my wallet, and checking that booking site under the dryer 😭 then looking through her photos seeing if I want a side part or middle part even though I know what I want and then ask again how much do I owe 😭

Back when I was in the Philippines, I felt stuck, burned out, and unsure of my future. My salary was barely ₱ 20,000–₱ 30,000/month (~ $400–$600 USD). I later moved to the UK — there I earned around £28,000–£35,000 per year, which is roughly £2,300–£2,900/month (about $2,800–$3,600 USD/month). Now, working as a nurse in Florida, I earn about $30–$55 per hour — that’s approximately $4,800–$8,800+ USD/month, depending on shifts and overtime. And mind you Florida is considered a low paying state for nurses. In other states, your salary could go as high as $10,000 a month. I’m grateful I had people encouraging me to take the leap. And hopefully by God’s grace, I get to help others through the blessings I have been endowed. Moving abroad gave me career growth, fair pay, and peace of mind. And you deserve that too. I’m not here to promote “brain drain.” If you believe you can create real change in your home country — stay and build. But for me and my family, I needed a path that could support sending siblings to school and caring for my aging parents. Sometimes, you do things not because you want to, but because you have to. If this resonates with you and you’re ready to take your next step, just comment “NCLEX” — I’ll help you get started. #nurse #nurseproblems #Filipino #aaronthern #americandream
