I lived in Mansfield when this happened. The son was treated horribly by both sides of the family. He was placed with nonfamily members. The daughter who the parents had adopted was placed with another family. The adults thought it would be best to cut off contact with Collier. Imagine the only person who cared about you is murdered by your father and then you are abandoned. Collier has a Podcast

You know it makes me really question from the early 2000s on back. How many cases were there like this case? Because this was in the 80s I can only imagine what it was like in the 70s 60s 50s or 40s.
