Everyone says good things about the Gurkhas on the internet but in reality they suffer a lot from Racism and Hate from the same countrymen they’ve spent years protecting. Singing praises on the internet isn’t enough, something more needs to be done.

This is true per capita for the Gurkhas , other regiments like the princess of wales royal historically have more VC but per the size of regiment/ number of personel serving in the regiments it’s certainly the Gurkhas

My dad was a royal engineer in 1950s. They had an exercise where they had to defend a river and stop the Gurkhas from crossing who were positioned on the other side. When the sun came up the Gurkhas had not only crossed but their entire camp was behind the CRE
