I feel like nurses are particularly good at taking pain/sadness/trauma/sleeplessness and putting on a mask and pushing through. It’s almost a requirement for the job. I’ve zipped a body bag in one room then walked into another putting on a smile to encourage my patient through their chemo. So her ability to mask as a nurse and a mom just makes a lot of sense to me.

So let me get this straight. If she talks about her problems, she’s labeled as a complainer. If she doesn’t talk about her problems, then she must be OK? But if she doesn’t talk about her problems, then she wasn’t seeking help. But if she did ask for help, she was looking for attention.

All of these comments insinuating she didn’t show it. You know how many people have said to me ‘I would never have thought you suffer, you don’t look like it’. Yet I was writing letters to my kids going through a breakdown planning to end my own life. No one knew. I expect the shitty comments from men but so many women should be ashamed of themselves. Not every persons post partum, mental health etc is the same.

Ok hold up…so the kids went to daycare but they hired a nanny “for Lindsay” who was going to work nights and likely sleep during the day WHEN THEY ARE AT DAYCARE so the nanny was for PATRICK at night when Lindsay was working??!?!
