Ashland, Ohio…. Grab some lunch at south street grille and explore! Also if during summer, could drive about 15-25 minutes depending where you are and go down to loudonville Ohio and float the Mohican River and check out Mohican adventures

Mount Vernon, OH. Lunch at Bickerdyke’s inside of the fully restored Woodward Opera House. There is a tap room or full restaurant. Walk to the square and get dessert at Half Baked Bistro (get a pack of cheesy biscuits and handmade pierogis for the road). Head around the square to the local artist co-op, local handmade store, Fat Dog Vinyl, walk up to North On Main for a coffee, loop back down Main Street stopping at the iconic dog water fountain, enjoy the cute Paragraphs bookstore, and get a coffee at Happy Bean. Head up to Gambier (about 15 mins away) and walk Kenyon’s beautiful campus, stopping at the free gallery, and incredible dog park if you’re traveling with a friend. You haven’t had coffee for awhile so pop into Wiggins Street before heading out of town. Need dinner before you go? Stop at Kelly’s Pizza for a delicious pie to go or Lola’s Tacos - the best Mexican in town.
