Dr. Squatch's Wood Barrel Bourbon body wash scored the highest at 91, leaving out the parabens, phthalates and sulfates common across men's washes. Dr. Bronner's Pure-Castile Bar came in at 86 — a short list of certified-organic oils, no synthetic detergents, no fragrance loophole. Dove's Sensitive Skin Beauty Bar scored 82, proof a drugstore pick can hold up: fragrance-free and gentle enough that dermatologists have recommended it for decades. And APLB's Glutathione Niacinamide Body Wash and Native's Cashmere & Rain both landed a 75 — cleaner-than-most picks, though each carries a flag or two (fragrance, in Native's case) that keeps them out of the top spots. The thing they share isn't a marketing word — it's what the ingredient list actually shows when you scan it.
