I’m a child of divorce and also am divorced. My parents hated each other and I knew it. When I got divorced, my ex and I made sure to create a peaceful co parenting relationship because our daughter deserved the best case scenario. 10 yrs out and she told me the other day that she never worries about her parents fighting or having to choose. Probably one of the proudest moments as a parent. I broke that cycle! It’s hard but it’s beyond worth it.
