@spaceaccordingtoskylar: I’m an astrophysicist, let me yap about my research! In this case, I just published a paper on M82, a galaxy that’s been very well studied for decades, and yet in many ways is still a mystery. #astrophysics #space #Science #Astronomy #womeninstem
Yay for publication! (I know, not the point of the post, but still, congrats!)

that's wrong, the supermassive black hole in the center of the galaxy is the cause.

just wondering, why collision is not at the table as a reason? are any clues proving it's not a collision of two galaxies?

Throw in a "cosmological constant" and they'll give you a Nobel

What if…the galaxy just consumed something that disagrees with it?

The Dark Star isn't obviously that big to hold the Mass

@funnyweird&haha: I thought Messier was number eleven? 🤔…oops wrong Messier…was going to say University of Waterloo’s main campus is roughly an hour’s drive from where Gretzky grew up. Maybe he’d have some answers…oh there is a really good Apple Orchard on the way! Although it’s a bit early for that now.

It may missing its central SMBH, and as you mentioned more stars means more frequent super nova that leads to more materials ejection.

sorry I have a geometric theory of energy so I see the geometry of my theory in galaxy pictures. The theory uses a Hyperhelictical Bundle to understand the geometry of energy.

how much of a buzz is it to see your work published? does it ever get old...

I know I could Google this, but I'd rather ask humans than AI: Are size, temperature, and lifespan all directly related? Like are all big stars hot and short loved? Are all small stars cool and long lived? Are there big old stars or big cool stars?
