Anyone but you is much ado about nothing for about 5 minutes in the middle before they drop the gimmick which would be forgivable if it were a good standalone romcom which it isn’t. Do not waste your time unless you’re doing it just to see hot people

This honestly begs the question why Emerald Fennel needed to call her “adaption” Wuthering Heights. It could have literally just been “inspired” by. It’s barely even related to it. It could have just been its own story.

I was SO disappointed by how bad Anyone But You was. I was so happy there was finally a rom com in theaters and then it was just… so underwhelming. Glen Powell carried that movie on his back and it wasn’t enough.

Anyone But You is EXACTLY what it looks like, but it is a decently fun "turn your brain off" movie that will occasionally make you point at the screen and go "That's a Shakespeare reference!"
