@theaibibleofficial: The angels Ezekiel saw look nothing like the ones on your Christmas cards. This is Day 156 of Bible in a Year. A priest sat by a river in a foreign land, sure that God had been left behind in the rubble of Jerusalem. Then the sky tore open. Wheels within wheels, rimmed with eyes. Living creatures with four faces, moving like lightning. And above it all a throne, and a figure blazing like fire wrapped in a rainbow. It was the glory of God, and it had come all the way to a man in exile. Ezekiel fell on his face. Wherever you are sure God cannot reach, He is already there, seated on a throne no ruin can shake.
