Yeah, I went on Amazon and got the tretinoin and right away with the photos I was prescribed .25 tretinoin cream and I was like why not the gel it’s going great though🙇🏾♀️

The way that tretinoin sucks up all the moisture out of my face! 😳 I am on Tretinoin gel 0.01% & Azelaic Acid Gel 15%. I am 8wks in, I use both at night 4 to 5 nights a wk. I use the sandwich/buffer method, no issue, & my pores look visibly smaller, skin texture is smoother. I have been using Korean skincare for over 5 years, as well as skinflooding. 🥰

The gel version is alcohol based so it penetrates into the skin much quicker than the cream version. Also the “sandwich” method does not work for the gel version, you can do a layer of moisturizer first and then add your tretinoin but you cannot add another layer of moisturizer on top because it will pill. I wouldn’t recommend the gel version if you have extremely sensitive skin or extremely dry skin. I used the gel version for 3 years and could only tolerate using it once a week.
