@marks.kitchen.and.bbq: Pulled pork made easy in just 6hrs hours of cooking (plus a little rest in the box) 2.5hrs in the BGE at 120C then finished in the oven (no need to burn that charcoal when it is wrapped), this turned out perfectly, even if it was a little too hot to try and pull at the start. We were hungry and couldn’t wait, but as they say ‘fingers are for burning’ This fantastic 2.5 kg Boston but was seasoned with my favourite pork rub before using my Typhur wireless smart thermometer. To start it was smoked until the internal temperature reached 70C. The internal and ambient temps were monitored comfortably from my sofa on my phone watching daytime trash tv (rock n roll life) There was no drop in signal throughout the entire cook even though my sofa is at the other end of the house and the dome was closed on the barbecue for the entire cook. I am very happy with this thermometer. After that it was wrapped in baking paper and tinfoil with a can of Coca-Cola and placed into a 120C oven until the internal temperature hit 95. The steam was released before re-wrapping and placing the cooler to rest. Pulled pork made easy. #bb#bbqporku#pulledpork
