my son is going into year 11 so it's only going to get a years worth but he completely outgrew pe kit. over £50 for just a pe top and shorts! suppose I have to be grateful his last set lasted 4 years 😂

Feel your pain 😭 just brought Shoes £42 bag £30 per child times two and I haven’t even started on uniform 😭 I may sell a kidney and just to add Dad won’t help at all apparently it’s my job 😬. Mine is in GCSE and needs loads of equipment this year too 😭. Before people say you can buy cheaper shoes mine are adult sized and flat footed so have to have certain type and be fitted 😩

If in doubt, on Pinterest type In lists for different things. Eg: “school bag essentials for boys checklist” etc It saves me CONSTANTLY xx

There is a new legislation where they only have to have 3 branded things for the school now so it’s cheaper for parents not a lot of people know about that xx

I've just purchased 3 lots of secondary uniform and I honestly feel like my soul left my body when I had to pay 😂😂😂 because tell me WHYYYYY 1 PE shirt is £37.😳😳 £37 for one PE top!!!!😦😦😦 I wanted to cry 🤣🤣

Also tho , most schools now have a second hand uniform sale which is great for yr8 onwards if you’d rather buy new for yr 7 which I totally get ,but bargains are to be had !

Our secondary school 4 yrs ago was school branded trousers, jumper , tie , only a dark couloured bag , branded pe over top for winter , branded track suit trousers ! Now thank fully it’s only branded jumper and pe kit , but it’s still only dark bag and dark coat allowed but it’s a bonus !
