in ireland they implemented it in the dumbest way ever. the deposit is required by law but collected by a private company. they simply just keep the money from unreturned bottles for themselves and dont give it back to the government or anything

Haha, I broke the machine twice this summer and I was only visiting. Once was because it ran out of paper to print my receipt.

The machine was coded to be German what do you expect? Plus, the machine definitely accepts bottles in reverse order, it just seems to hate certain bottles like it's racist.

I've always thought it so strange and stupid that whenever I am in Germany I have to go back to the actual store that I bought the drinks from to Pfand them. Cuz here in Norway you can Pfand your bottle in literally ny store that sells drinks. It's legally required. WARUM DEUTSCHLAND, WARUM
