Sip & guzzle, bar chimera, bar snack for drinks, bottino’s is fire, Best pizza - ceres, John’s of Bleecker, denino’s, mamas too (their cheesesteak is insane too) if you go to Brooklyn then Luigi’s, lucali’s and Di fara are all pretty universally top 15ish pizza spots in the country. Everything within like 5 blocks of times square is a tourist trap and not worth it imo. Good late night eats- Los tacos no. 1, 7th street burgers. There’s tons of them. Hudson yards for shopping. Top of the rock or summit one for city panoramic views instead of Empire State Building. Figure out the subway, Ubers are like $70+. Bring comfortable shoes you will be walking a lot. The best place to get a bacon egg and cheese in the morning is literally any local corner store most are really unassuming but just walk in. Brooklyn flea market for tons of vintage clothing and jewelry (sat and sun), walk Brooklyn bridge (do Manhattan bridge too it’s far less crowded and better skyline pictures)
