another thing is, only around 0.3% to 0.5% of men ACTUALLY commit severe crime, so it just makes their assumption even more invalid

plus men don't report nearly as much as women. and once people hear a statistic they never believe it changes for whatever reason or have any reason to believe its flawed

The fact that “forced to penetrate” isn’t considered grape genuinely makes me sick. Thank you for speaking out about this

The craziest part is that in several of my schools, several boys had told me how some women touched them, and they say it with a kind of pride, as if they had been lucky I don't think it happens much in other countries but in my country there is a serious problem with this 😢

The video cherry picks one year’s data while ignoring the much broader body of evidence. According to the CDC’s National Intimate Partner and Sexual Violence Survey, more than 1 in 5 women (about 21%) have experienced completed or attempted rape in their lifetime, compared with about 1 in 31 men (about 3%). Meanwhile, 1 in 26 men report being “made to penetrate” someone during their lifetime, which is a serious form of sexual violence that deserves recognition but is measured separately from rape in CDC reporting. Pointing out that the FBI’s pre 2013 definition excluded many male victims highlights a flaw in historical crime reporting, but it does not establish that men and women are equally victimized. Male victims are real, and underreporting is a serious issue that deserves greater attention. However, the available evidence still does not support the claim that men and women experience rape at equal rates. In addition, the CDC reports that 87% of male rape victims identified only male perpetrators, while about 90% of female victims of unwanted sexual contact identified only male perpetrators, showing that men commit the overwhelming majority of rape and many other forms of sexual violence.

W video and great point about the legal definition holding back male victims, but just a heads up: that equal CDC stat is specifically for broad "non-consensual contact" (like unwanted touching and dating coercion), not equal rates of actual violent rape. When you look at severe penetrative rape, male perpetrators are still the vast majority.

i watched one of the sources on the vid and the lady did go go jail but he just wishes their was more coverage on crimes against men. being forced to penetrate does count as grape in the legal fbi defintion because it’s just defined as “penetration without consent” which includes being forced to do so. however none one of the stats you showed prove that women and men are equal regarding grape which makes me thing you’re biased towards men. penetration doesn’t just include male parts either. would you say a female forced to put an object in someones area counts? because if you say no thats just another crime act being uncounted in the stats according to this vid

Every time I argue with someone about it they NEVER know about "made to penetrate", even tho it is a clear violation of the 14th amendment

What confuses me is how did they find that I think it was 1.1% of men are mtp on the 12months basis but only 7% during lifetime but for women they had about 20% of rape. I might have the number wrong but it was something like that.

My only problem is that feminist keeps getting misused on the internet, and some people who claim they are feminist actually aren’t and that kind of misinformation just keeps spreading, a feminist is someone who believes men and women are equal so it can easily be substituted with the phrase “some people”
