@haqqacademy: Many people claim: "I love Allah." But Allah Himself tells us how that claim is proven. Allah says: قُلْ إِن كُنتُمْ تُحِبُّونَ اللَّهَ فَاتَّبِعُونِي يُحْبِبْكُمُ اللَّهُ وَيَغْفِرْ لَكُمْ ذُنُوبَكُمْ ۗ وَاللَّهُ غَفُورٌ رَّحِيمٌ “Say, [O Muhammad], ‘If you sincerely love Allah, then follow me; Allah will love you and forgive your sins. For Allah is the All-Forgiving, the Most Merciful.’” [Surah AliʿImran 3:31] Love for Allah is not merely a claim. It is proven through following the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. Whoever truly loves Allah... Follows His Prophet ﷺ. Outwardly. And inwardly. Claims alone are worthless. Whoever claims closeness to Allah while turning away from the Sunnah is not among the Awliyaʾ of Allah. The greatest of Allah's Awliyaʾ were His Prophets. The greatest of the Prophets were the Messengers. The greatest of the Messengers were the five of firm resolve. And the greatest of them all is our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ— The Seal of the Prophets. The leader of the Messengers. The leader of all the children of Adam. Allah made him ﷺ the criterion between His allies and His enemies. So whoever believes in him, follows him, and lives by his guidance...
