🪶🐦 Some Feathered Friends of Cornwall | Recent Wildlife Encounters 🌿📸 Sometimes, the best moments on an adventure are the ones that take flight, flutter past, or quietly go about their day while we're lucky enough to capture them on camera. ❤️ On my recent trips exploring Cornwall and its beautiful countryside, I've had the pleasure of photographing some wonderful feathered friends, each with their own character and charm. 🪶 Eurasian Siskin – A little flash of colour and energy among the trees. 🌾 Bearded Tit (Bearded Reedling) – A distinctive and fascinating bird of the reedbeds. 💙 Blue Tit – Small, colourful, and always full of character. 🦅 Buzzard – A magnificent sight soaring high above the countryside. 💛 Grey Wagtail – An elegant bird, often spotted near running water. 🪿 Canada Goose – A familiar presence around our lakes and ponds. 🦆 Mallard Duck – A timeless favourite of Britain's waterways. 🖤 Black Pheasant – A striking sight that certainly catches the eye. 🌊 Grey Heron – Patient, graceful, and perfectly at home beside the water. From the smallest woodland birds to the larger residents of our waterways and skies, every encounter reminds me how much wildlife surrounds us if we take the time to look. You don't always need to travel far or climb the highest peaks to discover something special. Sometimes, all it takes is a quiet moment, a little patience, and a camera ready to capture nature doing what it does best. 🌿📷 Which of these feathered friends is your favourite? Have you spotted any of them on your own adventures around Cornwall? Let me know in the comments! 👇 #Cornwall #CornishWildlife #Birdwatching #BirdPhotography #WildlifePhotography 🌿🪶
