I'm Spanish and until I came to the UK I would regularly forget Benidorm exists. Once we were driving and I saw it in the distance with its high rises and I was genuinely confused because I had no idea what major city could have been in the area, it's so out of our minds most of the time 😄

I went to Benidorm age 15, just finished gcse with a group of friends in 1995. No mobile phone, needed a letter from our parents to book. Sat in the smoking section of the plane. Saw Sticky Vicky. Somehow made it home. What in the what were our parents thinking?? 🤯
