Man, I’ve been going over that bridge since 1975. I can remember when they charged $.50 to go into the terminal Island side, Long Beach and nothing on one side going back into San Pedro. I also remember before that when they used to charge $.25 and either direction and now it’s finally paid for I guess.

my parents wanted to see the guppies mind you never been over the San Pedro Bridge. I think I was like 8 or 9 tell me why we got to the top and I literally remember screaming. I would never forget that. 😭 that may have been the moment that caused my fear of heights

This bridge is going to be replaced in the next ten years. It is not tall enough for the new cargo ships to fit under & 40% of the port is on the other side of it.
