Please be honest. Nobody uses those tiny cartridges. You use the white washer and the 45 g cartridges which last anywhere from one month to three months. Yes you might pay a few pennies more but you don't have to worry about end of life over gassing your tank because the small cartridges and this regulator don't allow that. Plus, it fits so nicely in a small space. Plus, are you calculating in the transportation cost of driving leaving your tank at a brewhouse waiting for them to fill it or possibly swapping it with an ugly beat up tank. For a small tank the small system has many advantages, safety size and convenience. At least be honest man. And showing those tiny cartridges was completely misleading. I have both size tanks depending on my needs, but the small systems are excellent highly recommend and by the way they've introduced a new one that takes an 80 g cartridge. They're dropping now on Amazon.

I watched a lady open her co2 and mix in ice, citric acid and baking soda and then seal it and it just creates its own CO2 that lasts a month

Ive seen someone on tiktok that made their own c02 tank and the way the refill it is by mixing baking soda and vinegar and close it and let it pressurize on its own

I would put your diffuser closer to your outflow. CO2 that is able to rise straight from the diffuser to the surface is exponentially less efficient and most of it is lost. You want those bubbles to stay in the water for as long as possible.

This is what I've done since I installed the small system. See my post below. Frankly my plants look better than your system with the huge inconvenient dangerous tank. Cheers.
