I don’t care what the current trends are. I love the look of wood and will always prefer wood cabinets. I do like the darker stain better though. I can’t stand the stark white, cold, monotone kitchens that everyone seems to love. It feels so sterile. I want some color and warmth.

General finishes Java gel or any shade really of their gel stain is amazing. No sanding. Right over top of existing finish.
