I hate when people on the outside tell a mother they should be grateful for whatever they’re getting for their child simply because “other mothers aren’t getting anything.”… Gratitude and dissatisfaction can coexist, more so when it’s another parent.Being thankful for something doesn’t mean you have to pretend it’s enough, you can be grateful for the contribution without being satisfied with the quality of it, especially when you’re someone who works hard to give your children the best you possibly can. Someone else having less does not mean you have to accept less.
