You can tell they shared the questions beforehand. I hate prepared answers to questions like these. What does "a beautiful meditation on grief" mean? That's just a blob; Girl, tell me why YOU liked it, what it meant to YOU. Even "The Stranger," first of all, that book is awful in its politics. Second, "every time it means something different" okay, but what? what is something.

The Little Engine That Could by Piper. It’s a classic from 1930. It’s a little hard to get into at first, but once you really commit to it,and dissect what it really means it changes your reality on the world. I think when I reread it in later years, it had a darker meaning to me. It shows even in you are of the same vehicle, they will not support you, and will actually do everything to make you feel less than. Also I believe it’s a metaphor, that we’re basically all cogs in a never ending corporate system. And the only option is to keep chugging along until we ultimately die🧐
