Coach Carla :
Retired oncology and hospice nurse of over 40 yrs. This sounds utterly ridiculous to me. I have seen every type of death you can imagine. This doc is being purely altruistic in his thinking. There is no group think like this. But, it's a good story and a good thought if it only could be. Every death is unique and some are far from ecstatic. He's taking liberty comparing this to some global awakening.

You all are missing the main point here. The hospice bed is a metaphor for the extinction of mankind as a species. We are near the end. Just like the dinosaur and the Neanderthal. We are at the reflection point as a species to see how our collective history over 300000 years has unfolded perfectly and as intended. Whether the end is in a decade, century, millennium is anyone’s guess. Scary and profound. Not many realize that we are in the middle of one of the largest mass extinction events in the history of the planet right now. Called the Holocene Extinction.

What he is saying is our souls needed all the light & darkness to feel and grow and become. You won’t appreciate the light until you’ve lived thru the darkness. The yin and yang. You can’t know love unless you’ve experienced the opposite

Last words of Sam Kinison, “I don’t want to die, Ok, Ok, Ok.” And Steve Jobs, “Oh wow, oh wow, oh wow.” What were they seeing and hearing? Were they starting a journey? Were they realizing that everything is ok, everything was ok, and everything they did was worthwhile.

My grandma taught me one thing that every generation thinks that the world is gonna end during their lifetime and it does come to an end for everyone at some point!

This man is bold faced lying. Hospice doctors are quite literally NEVER will the patient let alone at the moment of death. Lies.

The illusion of separateness and a finite existence creates such a tension that allows the human psyche to experience an extraordinary range of emotion. The choice to love amid all of it is the most beautiful creation.

Isn’t one of the authentic feelings of a human to feel that they are wronged? By that logic, we should continue the victim perpetrator dynamic.

The ability to step back, disconnect, and take a "birds eye view" of your existence or all of existence that we are aware of is incredibly underutilized.

He’s essentially saying humans are dying or suffering. The results are indicative of the current climate and situation. I agree with him. Humans are in real trouble. Society is broken. 💯💯💯💯
