@chriscafferyofficial: The smoke and dust have finally cleared and we are in Belgium with a day off before our first ever stop at the Alcatraz Open Air tomorrow. I had the pleasure of spending some time with Father Zakk Wylde and his amazing band yesterday before their show. I’ve met Zakk a few times before but this was my first chance to sit and spend some time with him. He’s just one of the most genuine, funny and amazing people on the planet. I’ve got a pretty difficult situation I’m dealing with at home at the moment with the health of a family member and Zakk somehow found a way to make me level out and just live in that moment. That kindness I will always remember and be thankful for. It was fun to introduce Wilbur and get some photos photos with Wilbur and some of Zakk’s cast of legendary stage walk characters. Black Labels show was f’in brilliant! His band and crew are so awesome. I’ve done a bunch of Jersey Metal shows with John Jd DeServio and it’s always great to see him. I’ve become a big fan of Dario Lorina as a player, writer and singer. Dark Chapel is a great band! Check it out if they aren’t already on your playlist. Jeff Fabb, Zakk, JD and Dario are just a brutal live band and I even warmed up an extra amount knowing I had to hit the stage after one of rock and metal’s true guitar legends. I also got to have a short chat with the one of a kind Alex The Terrible. Such a kind and incredibly unique person. We didn’t get to see their full show I’m hoping to watch that tomorrow! Alex The Terrible and Slaughter To Prevail are another brutally heavy live band and are a lot of fun to watch live. We didn’t a signing session during the day and got to listen to and watch the rock and roll stars in Thundermother. That band is just so cool and they are classic rock and rollers. Like a female Motörhead! I can’t thank everyone at Leyendas del Rock for their hospitality and for having us play at this amazing festival. The crowd was so energetic and sang along to everything. One of my favorite festival shows I’ve ever played. So much more I can say, just going to go take a walk and clear my head. Thanks again Spain! 🫶🇪🇸 @wilbur @Savatage @Zakk Wylde
