Control is a trauma response from childhood, it comes from not feeling safe being unheard/unseen and a whole heap of other things. Traumas come from not understanding soil lessons you chose before being born. These things happen for you not to you, to you is victim mentality.

Peace is something a man must bring to himself. Fact is most men who keep saying "well want peace" are usually very chaotic men. They were in toxic relationships or have very low self-esteem. A man who is confident, strong, kind, ambitious, and practices self control and emotional intelligence will be a peaceful man.
😏👍

I agree with everything she said- except the venting to mothers and friends. Taking relationship stuff outside the relationship is asking for judgement from outside influence.

When I tell you soon after we got married , I stopped trying to control everything. I don’t pop off. I keep it to myself and when the time calls for discussions, I’m able to say it in loving supportive ways. We even have a therapist and she breathes this into me as well to work on myself and change my thoughts on things. Breaking from the hyper independence and be submissive to him, follow his lead, create an atmosphere where it’s peaceful and he can do what he needs fully. I was taught to never depend on a man so it’s breaking that thought process to be his wife, be supportive and breathe life into him. I’m still working on some things but I’m loving our peaceful home. He is my best friend and he deserves a peaceful home.
