@saradaviescc: I love a good upcycle, especially when the finished result looks far more expensive than it actually is... This started life as a plain glass vase, but with a bit of Mod Podge, some gilding flakes and a coat of spray paint, it's had a complete makeover. I still can't get over how good the gold looks shining through the paint. It's one of those projects that's so simple to do but makes such a difference. Definitely worth keeping hold of any old glass vases instead of sending them to the recycling! Have you got an old vase lurking that could do with this treatment?!
