I was taking 800mg 4 times a day and now finally I am on 400mg 4 times a day but want off of it and now my doctor wants Lyrica and I see that’s bad too. What can I take for my nerve pain?

I was on 900MG. I stair stepped down ,now I’m down to 300MG, currently going through withdrawals. I’m fighting through it and getting off this crap.

Gabapentin made me worthless. It stole any ambition I could have had. Leaving me in a haze, unable to do even the easiest tasks. 100% it’s not worth it I’d rather have the pain than feel the way it made me feel

I took it as needed and then stopped. My doctor literally said: this dose is so small it won’t hurt you. Immediate red flag

They prescribed me this after a skin removal surgery and it was the worst drug I have ever taken! I wasn’t on it long thank god but the withdrawal that they didn’t tell me about one I was so itchy I mean like crazy itchy it was driving me nuts but long story short I highly recommend you not take this………. One more thing one of the doctors in the office said one day at an appointment “why would they put you on gabapentin” I said idk you tell me!

I have been on it since 2018 1200.mg aday, i do not have side effects and its the only drug that worked for by lateral trigeminal neuralgia.
