in norway,we have a 20 year peace time. meaning, after those years, the plot can be used agian. and the remaining casket and bone is to be placed under the new casket.

I heard that they just wait a few generations then just reuse them cuz like after so many generations there's no one to ask hey where's grandma buried at so once its been so long they can just use that grave again. I know it sounds stupid but i heard that years ago which part me says its not true but at the same time part of me thinks there is some truth to it

Why don’t we bury people 12 feet deep so by the time all the space is used up we can just bury them 6 feet about the first casket but still have it 6 feet deep

what about the catacombs that go on for 200 miles. they make no sense, how long would it take to exhume that many graves and then sort all of those bones and then transport them underground and neatly stack them ? it doesn't make sense. where did all of those people come from?
