As someone who has a big sister, yes, maybe our relationship with her isn’t the same as the one we have with each other, especially since she didn’t play a big rule in my childhood as she was trying to figure out her life still ( which I’m grateful she did) But I’ve always admired her and loved her so much! Yes, sometimes you might feel like you’re seen as “the mom,” but you also get the love for a mom. We look up to you and love you the same way you look up to your mom. When we were younger, we feared her the same way we feared our parents. But now that we’ve all grown up? She’s one of my closest friends. I still admire her, and I still catch myself wanting to copy her , just like I did when I was little. I just wanted to give you the perspective of the younger siblings. I always wished that she can have gift of having an older sister herself… but guess what? That means YOU ARE THE GIFT! We’ll always be grateful for you, and we’ll always do our best to support you too. Having younger siblings means you’ll always have your own little cheerleaders for life💓
