What do you all think hospice has been doing? This is not weird. If you are terminally ill or ever had a loved one terminally ill you would understand this as an option.

People having an issue with this is crazy to me. Should we just let people suffer for months even if they’re mentally sound enough to say otherwise? Why is dying of an extremely painful or exhausting disease more sensical than safely going out on your own terms? It could also give the families peace of mind knowing when their loved one is going to die, and it’s not like these are mandatory or being forced on people.
