I dunno about other stis but HIV is most common among straight people because it's still stereotyped as a queer disease, so queer people get tested, go on prep and be safe, because so many straight ppl think they can't catch it, they don't take as many precautions and therefore the majority of people with HIV nowadays are heterosexual

One time a guy told me he was awaiting results because he had recently been with someone who came back and told him they had contracted HERPES, he told me a few days after we had sex AND HE WAS STILL WAITING FOR THE RESULTS. I told him that by not telling me the full picture before we slept together was intentional misinformed consent and is technically sexual assault so I would never see him again. He genuinely did not see the issue as he “felt fine”. Thankfully I immediately got tested and came back negative for anything.. but my god these men are so fucking R E T A R D E D. And idgaf if you don’t like that word, because that’s what men are

My pan bf tested without being asked to when we got together, to confirm that he is in fact clean. That is something you can absolutely expect from your partner in a new relationship, and refuse shmex when they don't turn out to be clean. Also, do people not use condoms?
