@msweachh: This is just me coping. although he was honest, the mixed signals weren't rlly helping. You can't say you also like someone and want to avoid catching feelings so let's be friends but keep talking doesn't help not have hope. and that's really what hurts. The disappointment. Thats why im so upset. Just disappointing end after disappointing end :( I haven't felt this way about someone in a while and it's because I genuinely felt comfortable he wasn't talking like someone who lacked emotional intelligence he understood what I was saying. I felt kind of seen and for once not as (just) meat by a guy. Idk. I know I dodged mess since he's still following his ex, and I just rlly want to stop thinking about him. genuinely. I don't want to feel this way anymore. My last relationship of 4-5 years ended in ghosting, and when I finally had hope again because i felt something for someone else, it was just another lesson. I know he didn't intend to make me feel like this, he was as communicative as I was when prompted. which makes it harder because now I can't hate him it just makes me like him more. we stopped talking because of that mess his ex did apparently, needed space, and I just can't stop thinking about him. I'm trying to stand up, I am, so why do I feel so alone. I know I feel lonely and it's likely why I'm so in my head about this but man can it get to the part this is smth I recall every 6 months and go "eh" and move on :(
