@meb.records.c: Beethoven’s Hidden Masterpiece Praising Prophet Muhammad 🕌🎶 Did you know that the legendary composer Ludwig van Beethoven wrote a musical piece praising the Prophet Muhammad? In 1811, Beethoven composed the music for the play The Ruins of Athens (Op. 113). The famous "Chorus of Dervishes" features breathtaking lines honoring the Prophet, the Kaaba, and the splitting of the moon ("In the folds of your sleeves you have carried the moon and shattered it..."). A powerful reminder of how true genius transcends cultures and history! Share this video to spread the truth! ✨ #beethoven #classicalmusic #History #islamichistory #prophetmuhammad
“My choice of Muhammad to lead the list of the world’s most influential persons may surprise some readers and may be questioned by others, but he was the only man in history who was supremely successful on both the religious and secular levels.”
(The 100: A Ranking of the Most Influential Persons in History is a 1978 book by Michael H. Hart.)

Just to be clear. Beethoven composed the music for the ‘Chorus of Dervishes’ in The Ruins of Athens (1811), which includes lyrics praising the Prophet Muhammad. The words were written by the playwright August von Kotzebue, while Beethoven composed the music. They were both commissioned under the patronage of the Habsburg monarchy

lyrics written by the von kotzebue btw he was commissioned for a play about athena the greek goddess waking up after centuries to find that ancient greece has fallen under ottoman rule... and seeing muslims take over greece... she is a real turd about it laments the loss of her pagan bs. then she moves to hungary... and is like oh wow... they're building a massive theatre here where they celebrate paganism in hungary. art and culture found a new home. we should all commend the habsburg monarchy for rehoming culture/art from the lands invaded by the muslims i ran into earlier. everybody come visit the new theatre in hungary. its one long ad read... also some muslim characters in the play saying xyz doesnt mean thats what beethoven / von kotzebue hold to be true. it's just a portrayal of what they think muslims say/do. they were both garbage btw.

The lyrics were written by the German dramatist August von Kotzebue for his 1811 play, The Ruins of Athens. Beethoven was simply hired to set Kotzebue's script to music.
