While I understand your intent, I disagree with the approach of further gatekeeping access to nature. Enjoyment of beautiful outdoor spaces has always been gate kept from Black Brown and disabled folks in the U.S. Tik Tok has just made these unknown spaces more visible to those communities. I urge folks to reconsider sharing but share with intentionality and education. Some folks genuinely do not know how to prepare and interact with nature. If you’ve rarely made it outside of city parks you may not know to bring a trash bag to pack in and out. Less time spent often means less of a relationship with the land. If we focus on better educating folks that are just now getting access to these spaces I think the benefits will be much greater overall.
