I could feel myself within both era’s but I agree life was so much better with minimal technology. I felt like people were humans and not robots. What hit me was remembering year 1 we would be running around having the times of our lives,when becoming a teaching assistant in year 1 they were all sat on their phones. It made me so so sad🥺

Born early 1990 and this describes my childhood perfectly. Called our friends on land lines. Got my first cell phone my freshman year of HS. iPods were made late into my HS years and iPhones/smart phones when I entered college. I’d argue this is more like kids born 1990-1995
